Fiscal Resposibility

As a City, we need to work together to pursue a measured approach to government spending and borrowing. That doesn't mean being cheap: It means spending smart - to make every tax dollar count, and get the most value out of our expenditures. We need to work hard to eliminate debt, maintain reserves, and avoid unduly burdening the taxpayers. To do this, we must actively promote economic development initiatives which will both improve the overall tax base and benefit our community.
